A Word From The Pastor

April  2020

During the Civil Rights movement, Dr. Martin Luther King told us that there were some dark days ahead. We are currently living in trying times and dark days, but we must hold fast to our faith. Remember faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In times like these, we must hold fast to the profession of our faith. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. God is greater than the Coronavirus. His promise is that He would never leave or forsake us. God is our light in darkness and peace in the midst of a storm. This storm will pass.

Let us be reminded of His promises, hold fast to our faith and stand on His world. He will never leave or forsake us. Remember what He said in II Chronicles 7:14, If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land. He is the way, the truth and the life. It is in Him that we live, move and have our being. It is my hope that you find peace and comfort in these words. His promises are a blessed assurance. Let us continue to pray for those infected with this deadly virus, their families, the medical profession and all of those on those front line responders. This too, will pass.

To God Be The Glory!

Dr. Marvin R. Youmans, Pastor
